Wendy Weeks is a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst dedicated to supporting children, young adults, and families throughout South Carolina. Her career began with an undergraduate degree in Special Education, followed by several years teaching preschool and elementary students with developmental delays, autism, intellectual disabilities, and emotional challenges. These experiences fueled Wendy’s passion for helping neurodiverse individuals and their families.
After teaching, Wendy spent the next two decades as a school psychologist in public schools, where she focused on early identification and intervention for students across all grade levels. Her work emphasized the importance of recognizing strengths and providing support as early as possible.
Wendy brings a unique perspective to her assessments, drawing from her extensive experience in both classroom and clinical settings. She believes in offering families clear answers, practical support, and accessible resources to help children thrive. Her approach is comprehensive and strengths-based, considering cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional aspects to develop a well-rounded understanding of each child.
At Illumii, Wendy provides psycho-educational assessments—including evaluations for Autism, ADHD, and learning disorders—and collaborates closely with families to ensure assessment results are understandable and actionable. She is committed to empowering families, offering tailored recommendations and guidance to support each child’s unique journey.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring new places, and sharing meaningful moments with family and friends.
