Hello, thanks for visiting my profile. I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor- Qualified Supervisor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. The state of South Carolina also has certified me to offer Telehealth services. I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from Virginia Tech. When I am not working as a full-time Associate Professor at Wake Forest University, I enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and couples at Illumii. With over 25 years of experience working in multiple settings, I use a systemic approach along with practicing cultural awareness and sensitivity to support each of my clients.

It is an honor to support my clients in dealing with all areas of their lives. Specifically, addressing depression, anxiety, and trauma over the lifespan. Utilizing an EFT perspective along with the awareness of cultural and environmental impacts, allows for an open approach to wellness.
